Restaurant Description
It was 1980 when a young Romeo Caraccio dropped out of medical school to marry Agata Parisella and start up what was to become one of the most celebrated restaurants in Rome.
Beloved of locals, VIPs and the knowledgeable traveller, this friendly little eaterie is home to a family dedicated to excellence in cuisine. Their long dedication has turned this into a top class venue.
Chef Agata is much in demand, and famous for her creative intepretations of traditional roman dishes and insistence on only the freshest of ingredients. The Menu is often updated with new dishes. She writes for popular Italian newspapers, has two books to her credit, offers a cooking masterclass, and still finds time to cook for private parties for Roman VIPs.
Romeo handles the restaurant service and the selection of wines. He is equally well known for his excellent wine cellar offering both local and world wines, and his uncanny ability to match the correct wine to your menu choice. He is assisted by Maria his daughter, and you are always assured of a warm welcome.
