Restaurant Description
Built in 2000, the Ritz-Carlton Wolfsburg is a modern, semi-circular hotel located inside Autostadt, the Volkswagen theme park, and eight kilometres from Wolfsburg Castle. Situated just 60 kilometres away from Hanover International Airport, this contemporary hotel is perfect for business travel stop-overs.
Aqua is a minimalist, 2-Michelin starred restaurant run by world-class chef, Sven Elverfeld. The 39 year old German began his career as a confectioner, later progressing into the kitchen under the tutelage of Dieter Muller at the Schlosshotel Lerbach in Bergisch Gladbach, in the Black Forest.
At Aqua, the talented chefs have created five- and seven-course gourmet menus and à la carte dishes to choose from, and diners are offered views over the waterfront and a candlelit atmosphere.
Elsewhere in this stylish hotel, there is a day restaurant named Vision, serving European dishes with Asiatic influences. Newman's Bar boasts Cuban cigars and 300 types of fruit schnapps, and also hosts live jazz and blues six nights per week.
Also, guests at the Ritz-Carlton hotel have free entrance to the adjacent Volkswagen theme park - six acres dedicated to the history of the automobile.
