Italian Wines moving
Italian wine expert Riccardo Cotarella says "A few years ago we considered the southern coast of Italy as one of the best places, but this is not true today. The problem is the sunlight, the UV rays."
California Wines under threat
Professor Gregory V. Jones Ph.D a Climatologist warns that large areas of California's Napa Valley may cease to exist if we cannot control climatic temperature increases. Warming over the last 50 years has mostly assisted wine production, but the projected temperaure rises over the next 50 years could severely impact traditional wine growing regions.
UK Wine Growing
The upside is that we will see new regions and new flavours being developed in previously cooler regions. For example, the UK where the past decade or so has provided growing conditions not seen since the 13th century, grapes have ripened fully and produced some good drinkable wines.
